The PMEL 11.2 was originally manufactured in 1987. This German-made industrial wall-mounted light was used in explosion-sensitive areas like laboratories and chemical plants. The glass tube is held in place by three steel rods. The aluminum body has been slightly polished.

Visit product page →This is a rare example of an EOW explosion-proof tube light. These lights have been used in former weapon factories in Eastern Germany. The paintwork still is in good condition. The sheet steel outer casing has a beautiful patine because of the environment they were left in.
The double thickness original glass is still in great condition and is what gives the lights their weight, the lights also still have their maker's labels intact. As to be expected there are marks and imperfections but overall these are fantastic statement lights and would suit a restaurant or bar but would equally look great in a domestic setting.
